Save the date for a special presentation from local author Lesley Choyce.
The author will read excerpts from his latest novel, The Untimely Resurrection of John Alexander MacNeil, to illustrate writing techniques. In this second adventure featuring the feisty elderly protagonist, John Alex must muster all his courage and wisdom as he comes face to face with an most unwelcome visitor in his kitchen - the grim reaper!
After the reading, Choyce will give tips to aspiring writers on finding their voice, settling into a writing routine, developing memorable characters, finding a publisher, and more. He will also field a wide range of questions about the craft and the business.
